Graphic Designer Student Worker Job at LSUHSC
The basic responsibilities of this position are to provide technical assistance in a medical research environment. The incumbent will provide support for computer projects in the area of Neuroscience research. The incumbent should possess high-level communication skills as they will interact with various faculty and staff members on transferring data into graphic software and maintain the website. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are needed for this position.
Maintain Neuroscience Center of Excellence website
Create figures, graphs for grants and publications
Create PowerPoints presentations of data
Print posters and maintain poster printer.
Transfer scientist data into graphic software to be used for publications and posters.
Pull graphics and data from articles to be used by researchers.
Troubleshooting researchers' files.
Other duties as assigned
Student enrolled in a computer graphics/design program is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Professional Adobe, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, excellent communication skills, work experience using both Mac and PC
