Job Description

The Graphic Designer supports and assists in leading corporate creative design projects through the entire creative lifecycle.

Function
  • Create beautiful design deliverables, including but not limited to landing pages, digital & print ads, social media and email campaigns, presentations & reports, and end-to-end video production, to support brand awareness and top-of-funnel marketing initiatives.
  • Day-to-day work includes: research and concepting, designing, facilitating the approval process, and team collaboration.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and apply to all work conducted.
  • Actively participate in creative kickoffs and brainstorming sessions, asking questions and driving to clarify information needed to complete projects.
  • Work independently but also collaborate with and take direction from creative and marketing team members, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage own time and workload and be able to foresee and communicate road blocks proactively. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
  • Work across multiple time zones to support team members in North America, Latin America and, occasionally, Europe.
  • May assume a lead role in creating the visual and conceptual direction on projects and should also be able to act in a support role for another designer.
  • Conduct photo and design research for creation of mood/concept boards and to build on existing image libraries.
  • Present ideas and concepts in person or via video meeting.
  • Mentor other designers/freelancers when necessary.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Web and/or Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 3-5 years professional experience with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Or 6+ years of professional experience without an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS:

    A well-suited graphic designer in this position will:

  • Have intermediate to expert proficiencies in programs such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Microsoft Office
  • Use creative problem solving across all channels of marketing and knows design best practices for respective channels
  • Be a self-motivated team player, strong communicator and detail-oriented
  • Be well organized and manage a heavy project load under tight deadlines, preferably leveraging Wrike or a similar project management system
  • Collaborate effectively in a virtual and remote environment
  • ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

    It’s strongly recommended that this graphic designer also:

  • Understand and apply basic HTML5 and CSS, UI/UX, and accessibility
  • Have experience working in a CMS (such as Craft) and Ceros Studio, a web-based interactive content builder
  • Can use a DSLR camera and lighting kit for photo and video content creation, event photography, and other corporate needs. Plus, basic photo and video editing.
  • Create animations in Adobe After Effects, Motion, or similar, and design technical, intricate infographics
  • Have experience with complementary design tools such as Canva, Stripo, and Sharepoint Sites
