The following position is currently available:
POSITION NAME: GO Club Afterschool Site Coordinator
LOCATION: Eugene Field Elementary School
LENGTH OF POSITION: Year-Round
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Director for Community Initiatives, the Site Coordinator is responsible for daily programing, continuous communication between partners and the Y, staff management, students/parent management and overall environment of the YMCA Afterschool Program. Must be able to sustain a well-managed program while also keeping the atmosphere fun and enthusiastic. Must have great communication skills to help manage YMCA Staff, students, parents, and volunteers in a respectful manner. Must be well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as have experience with behavior management and working with groups of children. The Site coordinator will assist the Program Director in implementing the various programs, coaching staff, and developing program partnerships for GO Club.
QUALIFICATIONS:
SCHEDULE: 35 hours per week
STARTING SALARY: $15/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- 21 years old or older
- 2 years working with youth and/or families preferred
- Volunteer or staff development/supervision experience preferred
- Microsoft Office and Google Docs experience preferred
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
