We are currently recruiting for a Global Head of Total Rewards and HR Operations, reporting to the CHRO you will oversee all aspects of HR Operations, HRIS, Mobility, Immigration, Global Compensation and Incentive Programs, Health, Wellness, and Welfare benefit plans for employees within Quaker Houghton’s locations globally by building innovative compensation and benefit strategies that drive growth, attract, and retain talent, optimize the workforce, and drive productivity.

What will you do?

  • Design, develop and implement compensation, benefits, well-being and wellness program initiatives that can be effective globally.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefit programs, policies and guidelines ensuring they are market competitive, compliant, cost effective and aligned with corporate goals.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for compensation and benefit as a tool to support the company’s growth and strategic plan.
  • Play a critical role in the due diligence process and comprehensive review of all compensation and benefit plans for new ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Educate HR team and Senior Managers the value of rewards programs.
  • Oversee compensation projects. Aligns HR operations and management around goals, deliverables and timelines
  • Review internal structure of job titles and salaries, making recommendations for improvements and consistency
  • Participate in various compensation surveys, reviewing compensation programs, benchmarking and making recommendations to ensure competitiveness in the industry
  • Proactively plan for upcoming compensation committee or related meeting topics and to prep materials in partnership with the CHRO.
  • Partner with Executive Compensation partners to proactively prepare for Board and Committee meetings
  • Develop the global HR technology strategy and roadmap, and drives the implementation of those solutions
  • Drive HR Technology, Reporting, Operations, Compliance, Payroll, and Mergers and Acquisition teams.
  • Develop the roadmap for HRIS reporting initiatives - works with management and key stakeholders to support organizational strategic objectives

What do we look for?

  • BA/BS Required, MS Preferred.
  • 15+ years’ experience in HR related business partnership/management positions including as a HRBP or in global
  • compensation, benefits or total rewards positions.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in global compensation
  • Broad based and progressive building and managing global compensation, benefits, and equity programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with involvement in execution as well as the development of strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to understand user needs within and outside of HR and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Deep understanding of audits and compliance related filings
  • Proven experience of working closely with Board of Directors’ Compensation Committee
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
