In this job, you will be part of the Distribution Master Data Integrity group within our Transmission & Distribution Business Unit. The successful candidate will support data alignment activities by collaborating with internal/external clients to assess project requirements, create high-end analytical products and support various initiatives to ensure data accuracy for SCE. The following position will support as a subject matter expert providing guidance and recommendations on maintaining alignment between SCE’s main system of record, SAP and cGIS. A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Participate as a team member on Departmental/Business Unit data resolution initiatives and special projects for data maintenance.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of databases, analytical tools, and process documentation for data alignment of SCE’s main source systems (SAP, cGIS, Circuit Map).
  • Develops tools and procedures to automate and/or improve efficiency of operations.
  • Perform in depth analysis to support data accuracy.
  • Perform data asset maintenance.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications


The essentials

  • Three or more years of experience analyzing GIS databases, drawings or maps.

The preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Specialized GIS education or GIS certification.
  • Ability to represent the organization and collaborate with internal and external business partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience utilizing any of the following: Autocad, GIS or cGIS.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

You should know …

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
