Position Summary
Belmont Abbey College seeks a Gifts Processing Coordinator for College Relations.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Administration, the Gift Processing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the timely processing and acknowledgement of all gifts, pledges, pledge payments, matching gifts, memorial and tribute gifts, stock donations, gifts-in-kind, and other contributions. They will work directly with donors by creating acknowledgment letters, pledge billings, and responding to donor calls and emails. They will be sufficiently knowledgeable about our donor database, Raiser Edge, as well as credit card processing and prospect research systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a two-year degree and a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience and possesses maturity, good personality, punctuality, dependability, accuracy and must be able to follow instructions. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The candidate must be self-motivated, organized, and able to pay attention to minute details. Experience in accounting, ledger keeping, and database management is desirable. The work environment is a general office setting with limited strenuous physical demands – able to move boxes up to 30 lbs.
