The South Western School District is looking for a highly qualified, innovative, and passionate educator to serve as a full-time gifted education services, with initial assignment including case management and delivery of service for gifted education at both the elementary and middle school level. This is a permanent position to start at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. The primary job goal for this position includes planning for and carrying out instruction and student supervision in accordance with the priorities, policies, and procedures of the South Western School District. Minimum qualifications include: (1) Must hold a valid PA teaching certificate (Preferably holds certifications in multiple areas); (2) Minimum of three years successful classroom teaching experience; (3) Masters degree in education related field; (4) Clean criminal history in accordance with all PA mandated background checks (Act 34, Act 114, Act 151); (5) Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills; and (6) the Ability to effectively plan and deliver high quality, rigorous, meaningful, relevant, and standards-aligned instruction.
