Genetics Counselors support the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing genetic counseling services to patients and families as part of the overall delivery of care.
Qualifications:
Education
Master's degree in genetic counseling Masters-Required

Experience
Experience in and knowledge of human genetics particularly its clinical aspects; genetic counseling and experience in working with patients and their families.
Experience or training in teaching and/or education

Certifications Licenses and Registrations
Certification as a genetic counselor by the American Board of Medical Genetics or other recognized certifying body within 12 months of hire.
Certified or Licensed as required by the state of practice-Required
Basic Life Support (BLS)-Required
