Responsibilities:

• Change smoke detectors and/or batteries
• Assist desk receptionists as needed with delivering packages or other materials throughout property
• Change common area light bulbs
• Empty common area trashcans
• Monitor common area restrooms and laundry rooms for trash and personal property left by Member Owners
• Raise and lower American Flag at the Main Building entrance daily
• Water plants and lawn as directed
• Remove trash daily from trash rooms on residential corridors
• Remove trash from compactors in according to schedule
• Observe all safety rules for operation of compactors during trash removal
• Move or rearrange common area furniture as needed
• Set up and break down for meetings, concerts, and other special occasions
• Walk grounds and remove debris and trash found
• Clean bike cages and storage rooms (sweep and power wash as needed)
• Monitor and clean mechanical rooms and common storage closets monthly
• Clean common areas as needed
• Keep common area hand sanitizer dispensers filled
• Oversee apartment moves in and out
• Place elevator padding in freight elevators each morning
• Perform heavy cleaning of interior and exterior areas by sweeping, hosing, scrubbing, and removing debris.
• Deep clean and sanitize all compactor rooms.
• Apply ice-melt and perform snow removal for all building entrances, walkways, and steps as needed.
• Report damage or maintenance needs to Supervisor and/or Chief Engineer
• Perform other duties as assigned
