General Production - Door Glue Up Job at Grabill Cabinets
Position Summary:
The purpose of the Door Dept. is to develop the rails and panels to create ordered doors and then construct these doors to the correct specifications. This process includes cutting and creating custom parts, profiling the door, sanding, gluing, and inspection.
Daily Tasks:
- Assemble and inspect assembled frames and doors.
- Repeatitively unload and stack dried or finished doors.
- Communicate with the Door Department Supervisor if any quality issues or missing doors arise to determine best course of action.
- Maintain stock of workstation, including keeping a neat and organized area to work safely.
- Minimize waste to prevent doors going to the wood chopper.
- Check paperwork to ensure all parts of the job are being passed to the next department.
- Deliver paperwork and job to the next department.
