General Farm Labor / Coffee Harvest (Kealakekua, Hawaii)
compensation: $18 per hour with company paid medical benefits

Temporary, seasonal and full time positions available. 40- hours per week. Hours may increase due to overtime if requested. Hours dependent on crop availability and weather conditions. Scheduled hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:00A – 3:30P. Workers will be harvesting mature coffee cherries in orchards owned and maintained by Kona Hills, LLC. The harvesting process includes being able to stand for multiple hours, picking coffee cherries, and carrying coffee cherry in a basket. Essential functions for Pickers, include but are not limited to: will need to empty their baskets into burlap bags; tie, lift, carry 100lbs to put them onto delivery trucks. Other essential tasks include the pruning of coffee trees, removing the weeds around the crop, planting and transplanting of coffee trees, fertilizing, spraying of herbicides, fungicides and pesticides and other farm maintenance tasks such as cutting grass with a weed eater or machete, cutting trees with a chainsaw or handsaw, removing the overgrowth of grass, weeds, or other invasive plants in the coffee farms. Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States (green card).
