Job Title: Control Clerk

Department: Facility Operations and Maintenance

Job Summary:

Compiles and records daily production data for site. Compares and reconciles records and reports. Assist Project Manager with data compiling and reporting.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Compiles and records daily production results utilizing documents including, but not limited to, service work orders, operations customer order, and uploading requests for service in the computerized maintenance management system

  • Dispatch maintenance staff to respond to request for service

  • Close-out and upload work orders and other maintenance documents into NCMMS

  • Receive vendor product, verify, delivery, and coordinate distribution to staff

  • Plan/ Manage multi tasks/project forwarded through Management

  • Follows prescribed recording procedures, using computer tracking systems and other devices

  • Prepares government CDRLs as prescribed in the statement of work

  • Maintains automated maintenance history files on equipment and source document files to support all reporting details

  • Coordinates with co-workers to assure accurate and proper tracking of daily data. Reconciles deviations.

  • Assist in new hire processing

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Data entry skills and accuracy utilizing Windows based maintenance control systems required

  • Must be able to communicate effectively

  • Possess strong computer skills

  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend written instructional documents

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One-year experience in Maintenance Production Control work required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Prolonged period of standing, bending, reaching, and working with hands

  • Occasional periods of prolonged exposure to load noises

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands as necessary

  • Ability to hear and see to position and safety requirement levels

  • Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals

Special Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be able to successfully pass as required a federal, state, or local government's background investigation
