Position Title: General Assembly - 1st Shift
Wage: $18/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-2:30pm + Mandatory OT during week hours

We’re hiring for General Assembly workers in Kenosha, WI. Associate to hire position.
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verify specifications by measuring completed component
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; place and expedite orders for supplies; verify receipt of supplies
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Basic arithmetic, writing, reading, and judgement skills
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions, procedures, and drawings with minimum supervision
- Knowledge of various manual/air/electrical operated tools and jigs, including wrenches, crimp tools, soldering irons, and surface mount technology machines, wire wrap tools and strippers, spray degreasers or cleaning units
