Responsibilities:

• Guards entrance/exit of Lumber Yard to confirm all items leaving the grounds have properly invoiced (purchased) which includes matching material on purchase ticket to items loaded on vehicle.
• Directs visitors and truckers to various parts of grounds or buildings. Inspects outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products.
• Performs customer service tasks and assist other yard employees and truck drivers in performing their assigned tasks
• Handle lumber, plywood and other building materials as needed to place material in stock
• Maintain lumber stacking and keep all areas of the yard clean.

Qualifications:

• Solid math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
• Ability to safely lift 100 lbs.
