Foxconn is currently seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our Industrial Artificial Intelligence (iAI) team in Milwaukee, WI. This individual will be responsible for web application development from the backend database and services to front-end user interfaces for various projects. They will also work with different product development teams to formulate requirements and use cases and then translate that into an effective technical solution.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design, build and maintain responsive web applications.
• Collaborate with system designer and UI/UX designer to drive the design of our applications including user interfaces, APIs, backend services, and databases.
• Improve code quality and perform code reviews.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, and contribute solutions and ideas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements, Ideal Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 2-5 years of recent hands-on coding and software design.
• Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle & Agile Software Development.
• Experience with Java / JavaScript / Python (preferred), understanding libraries, collections, and their usage.
• Experience with CSS and HTML/HTML5.
• Experience with Node/NodeJS/NPM/YARN, Vue/React, REST API required
• Strong familiarity with server-side and web server technologies (Spring Boot, Flask, Django, NGINX, Apache, Redis, etc.).
• Knowledge of database systems and distributed technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with automation, writing unit tests, and performing code reviews.
• Has experience using Git.
• Experience in developing mobile/responsive layouts.
• Team player, with the willingness to work with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain complex technical details to someone non-technical.

Foxconn Full-Time, Permanent Employees:

• Accrue ten (10) personal days off and ten (10) vacation days off during the calendar year.
