- High School Diploma or equivalent; or demonstrated experience in a manufacturing / production environment.-
Ability to work fluently with numbers, fractions, and calculator.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure work is accurate.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiar and comfortable with shop power tools: cutoff saw, drill press, router.
Familiar with use of hand and battery powered tools: drills, drivers, measuring tools, saws, pliers, cutters.
Comfortable with basic computer functions and web based software and applications.
Previous pallet jack experience a plus, OSHA 10 / 30 certifications a plus
- Unloading, unpacking, storage and inventory of raw materials
- Inspection and testing as needed of sourced products prior to release for production or installation
- Preparation of materials for production
- Cutting metal rails and tube, cutting fabrics, light assembly
- Counting and kitting of parts and components
- Packing of customer materials for shipment or installation
- Assembling boxes, packing materials, and labeling
- Preparation for shipment with UPS Software
- Loading, unloading, unpacking, and layout of product for installations at customer locations
- Maintain all work areas in a safe, organized, and clean manner
