Orthopedic Associates (OA) is recruiting a Front Office Float Associate to join our company. OA is a privately-owned, regional leader in comprehensive orthopedic care. This position will be based out of our Centerville location but will require travel to other offices as business needs arise. Since 1985, patients have placed their trust in our specialized care of the hand and upper extremities, spine, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, foot and ankle, trauma, total joint and sports medicine. With over 30 providers, Orthopedic Associates provides patient care at multiple locations throughout the Miami Valley region. Job Title: Front Office (Medical Practice)
Reports To: Clinical Manager
Hours: 8 hours per day (M-F); start & end times may fluctuate
Duties include; but are not limited to,
Front Office Duties

  • Greeting patients and families
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Collecting and posting payments
  • Administering paperwork
  • Answering phone calls
  • Computer data entry
  • Providing top notch customer service to patients, families, guests and staff

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • No supervisory role.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to listen and communicate effectively.

  • This position is sedentary and requires a lot of sitting and active listening. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects over 10 pounds.

Travel:

  • This position requires travel. Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio reserves the right to relocate position duties to other locations, including satellite offices. May require travel to other locations as business needs arise.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum education level of high school diploma and/or equivalent education.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Health care industry experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, surgery, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, and the various medical specialties as required in areas of responsibility.

Work Authorization

  • Must be able to provide required documentation stating that the employee is legal to work in the United States.
