Front Desk Coordinator/Medical Assistant Job at JourneyLite Physicians
Dr. Trace Curry and the dynamic team at JourneyLite Physicians is seeking to hire a part-time Front Desk Coordinator/Medical Assistant for their offices in Dayton, Ohio. No weekends, No Holidays, No Call!
As a JourneyLite Front Desk Coordinator/Medical Assistant, responsibilities include:
- Checking in/out patients
- Field patient phone calls regarding labs, test results, etc
- Collect payments, schedule appointments, etc.
- Work as part of a team with registered dietitians, mental health professionals, physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide good documentation in the practice's electronic medical records system
- Run OARRS controlled substance reports on patients when required
- Fill in at satellite office locations when needed
- Room Patients
- Take blood pressure, weight, measurements
Position Requirements: Good phone/customer service skills Positive attitude Medical office experience

- Strong time management skills
- Excellent attendance
- Computer proficiency (MS Windows, MS Office, Internet applications) is required
