ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Front Desk Coordinators are patient-facing customer service advocates who are primarily responsible for patient reception and scheduling. This role is the face IVX Health, alongside our clinical teams, who ensure patients have an excellent experience before, during, and care their care.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Greeting and checking-in patients as they arrive to our centers
  • Schedule, reschedule, and follow-up with patients for necessary appointments via phone, text, and email
  • Answer calls within the center and market as appropriate
  • General center support i.e. light cleaning, supply ordering/stocking, etc.
  • Receiving packages and mail as appropriate

COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency with standard office software applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office, Teams)
  • Ability to learn basic medical terminology
  • Ability to learn, read, and review insurance plan information and knowledge of insurance portals
  • Ability to learn and utilize Electronic Medical Record systems, Practice Management platforms and other software programs
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proactive and optimistic
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Enjoy creating a friendly atmosphere
  • Good at coordinating with others to meet collective goals
  • Team player with ability to work in a fast-pasted environment

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of retail / customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of clerical / administrative experience in a medical office setting (preferred)
