Freight Audit & Customer Service Support Specialist Job at Technical Traffic Consultants
Technical Traffic is seeking full-time and part-time employees to join our Freight Audit Team at our headquarters in Congers, New York or at our satellite office in Saint Simons Island, Georgia. This individual will be work within a cross functional team environment, where they will primarily support the audit of freight invoices, and interact directly with customers via phone and email. This is an entry level position that allows for future grown with our organizations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Audit of freight invoices for all modes of transportation
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply freight tariffs, pricing agreements and freight terms
- Identify and report on billing anomalies
- Apply general ledger coding using business rules supplied by client
- Interact with client team members via telephone and email
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Logistics and Transportation related experience preferred, but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook
- Detail Oriented and Organized
- Strong Communication skills, both spoken and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet strict deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $31,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
