About Our School

Vertex Partnership Academies is the first-of-its-kind network of International public charter high schools dedicated to equality of opportunity, individual dignity, and our common humanity. Vertex student scholars are immersed in a culture of democratic discourse guided by the four cardinal virtues of Courage, Justice, Wisdom, and Temperance. Vertex was founded in the fall of 2022 in the Bronx, NY, with 110 students in the 9th grade. Each Vertex student scholar will choose either: (1) the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme that prepares them to enroll and thrive in premier colleges and universities in the country or abroad; or (2) the International Baccalaureate Career Programme that prepares them to graduate with a professional credential and directly enter the labor market with skills in one of four initial industry areas: (a) computer science; (b) health and medical services; or (c) construction/architecture, and (d) music video production.
