We currently have an opening for a 1st shift forklift operator for our facility in Waterloo, In. Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as part of a team and have high attention to detail and an appreciation for work that at times, can be physical.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate forklift and other yard equipment to meet shipping needs.
• Will primarily be loading and unloading trucks, but will also handle various yard duties.
• Load, transport, and deliver product in a safe and efficient manner with verbal and written instructions
• Continually monitor and verify all aspects of product quality.
• Complete equipment inspections.
• Maintain equipment in an operating function at all times and cleaned at the end of each shift.
• Follow established guidelines on policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Communicate any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions with yard coordinator
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Work in collaboration with other forklift drivers and other employees in order to achieve performance goals.
