B Crew: Tuesday - Friday 6pm-4:30am

C Crew: Friday & Saturday DAYS (6am-4:30pm) AND Sunday & Monday NIGHTS (6pm-4:30am)

SUMMARY

The Material Handlers will be responsible for operating a forklift; (standing or seated forklifts), while maintaining safety and efficiency. As a member of the HJI Team your success is measured with daily practice of our Core Values:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the HJI operation
• Inbound scanning of materials into Insequence and placement into location
• All assigned commodities staged accurately adhering to HJI process to perform scanning
• Stacking commodities in correct storage locations, following inventory instructions
• Perform daily equipment checks
• BOL processing
• Examine commodities to verify conformance to HJI Quality Standards
• Know and perform all duties with HJI Quality & Safety Standards in mind

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous forklift experience, preferred
• Must pass driving observation and written test
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional operation of forklift
• Warehouse experience in fast-paced environment, preferred
• Basic oral, written, and numerical communication skills
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote safe work environment
• Ability to use RF scan guns and system equipment.
