Job Summary:
Performs general cashier work under supervision. Incumbent handles cash and meal tickets from
sale of food in cafeteria, records and summarizes free meals, assists employees in setting up and
replenishing stocks in cafeteria, assists in keeping cafeteria neat and clean.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain supplies for cash register
- Verify and maintain current price schedule
- Properly set up work area, ensuring adequate supply of napkins, plasticware, condiments, etc.
- Maintain sanitary conditions of work area
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency required
- Prior experience as a general cashier is preferred
