ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Present menu, answer questions, ability to clearly communicate menu specifications and details to guests and make suggestions regarding food and beverage.
• Write order on check or memorize it.
• Input order in Micros system to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Garnish and decorate dishes preparatory to serving.
• Observe guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when the meal has been completed.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

• Pre-busses tables.
• Offer dessert and after meal beverage.
• Total bill and accept payment or refer patron to Cashier.
• Ladle soup, tosses salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee
• Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course according to established duties.
• Assist other employees in performing their duties whenever required.
• Complete all cleaning, stocking and accountability checklists and or paperwork required for the assigned position.
• Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year related experience
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.
• Current Washington State Food Worker Card
• Class 12 Mixologist/Class 13 Alcohol Server Permit

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
