Kikka sushi is looking for a dependable Food Prep / Cook who will provide great customer service in the Whole Foods Market located at: 348 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118 - Ink Block

In this fast paced environment, the Team Member will work in the Ramen Noodle Bar taking customer's order, preparing the order correctly, quickly, and hand it to them with a Thank You and a smile. The team member will also prep all food items, and clean the area. They may also have the opportunity to make sushi and other Asian foods.

To thrive you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, be willing to learn and work hard (this isn’t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to make sushi quickly and look nice too), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few weeks or a couple of months) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English.

Qualifications:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Show great customer service skills
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Be self-motivated, responsible and communicative
• Work all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
• Have flexible availability
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred experience:

• Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced retail environments
• Food handling experience and food handler certification
