FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises, trains, monitors, and coaches department staff.
- Directs and assigns employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service to meet operational standards.
- Oversees food and beverage operations in absence of the F&B Manager.
- Performs department opening and/or closing duties.
- Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times.
- Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests.
- Performs various other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of High School education
- Minimum of two (2) years of current restaurant/bar experience leading shifts
- Preferred casual to fine dining experience
- Alcohol awareness certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Team player
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
- Knowledge of local alcohol serving practices and standards
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
