FOOD AND BEVERAGE LEAD
SUMMARY
Guides staff on shift while instructing Team Members in the proper performance of their duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with department Leadership team ensure daily tasks and responsibilities are performed to standards. Motivates Team Members for continuous improvement.- Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Periodically inspects Food and Beverage area to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Responds to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Resolves Guest complaints in a timely and positive manner.
- Follows training plan and gives feedback to new Team Members to ensure a full understanding of job expectations and performance standards.
- Addresses Team Member issues during shift while escalating larger performance issues to leadership team.
- Performs daily duties as needed in various positions within Food and Beverage team, including Front of House and Back of House roles. This includes cashiering, bartending and prep cook roles.
- Completes regularly scheduled inventory and assists with supply orders.
- Works the required work schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays and is flexible in covering shifts as necessary for call outs or other issues. Works physically onsite to manage business and interact personally with Team Members and guests. Maintains an excellent attendance record.
- Ensures all safety standards are met and possible safety hazards are quickly resolved.
- Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.
- Outstanding example of and a credit to Prairie Flower Casino.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of Food and Beverage experience required.- Excellent Guest Service, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Good written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to occasionally push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, increasing to loud when on the casino floor.
- May be exposed to a smoking environment.
