Supervise and coordinate activities of part-time Food & Beverage associates to ensure all guests receive prompt and courteous service. Pro-actively address guest inquiries to ensure satisfaction with food & service. Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service.
Job Description
Will work with Food & Beverage Management Team running all aspects of the Food and Beverage department. Must possess positive communication skills, professionalism, and organizational aptitude to represent the organization in a revered manner, ensuring all members have a best-in-class Club experience.
Essential Functions
  • Create a fun, vibrant atmosphere that encourages associates to develop a passion for the culinary arts and superior service.
  • Work alongside the Culinary Team to ensure that products and goods offered to members are the highest quality, while still achieving fiscal responsibility and adhering to safety and health standards.
  • Assist with the execution of club events, including special events, weddings and member events.
  • Address member and guest complaints in a professional manner, advising the Executive Team about appropriate corrective actions taken.
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage Management Team and Executive Chef on special event menus and menu cost analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking and ordering.
  • Conduct performance reviews for associates.
  • Ensure that all safety, sanitation, energy management, preventative maintenance and other standards and regulations are consistently met.
  • Stay current on the culinary art, meeting with vendors on new products and services when appropriate.
  • Represent Loch Lloyd Country Club in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, culinary arts or other related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of two years of food and beverage leadership experience.
  • Previous experience working in hourly positions in the service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food service techniques and cost controls such as manpower, productivity, food cost and other expenses.
  • Experience managing and operating budgets preferred.
  • Ability to express service excellence and product knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of all Health Department regulations.
  • Food Handlers Certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
