Westwood Country Club in Vienna, Virginia seeking a Food & Beverage Associates.

There are openings in Hosts, Food Runner, Servers, Bussers, and Bartenders. Westwood Country Club has expanded and is in transition of opening up new food facilities around the club.

Food Runner/Bar Back:

We are looking for enthusiastic food runners and bar backs to provide an excellent member service at our multiple bars.

Description:

Ensure correct food is delivered to the table from the kitchen during busy shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and possibly Sundays.

Stock fountain area with condiments, lids, cups, etc.

Bus tables and keep dining area clean.

Assist Members’ needs when needed.

Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of restaurants.

At times, Ring up food orders on point of sale system.

Servers:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet members with a positive and inviting attitude when they visit the club, answer any questions, make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service.
• Interact with members and guests to create a friendly, inclusive and upbeat atmosphere.
• Place correct orders to bar/kitchen in a timely manner via the point-of-sale computer.
• Must stay present on the floor and in front of guests to observe, check on, and use anticipatory judgment for additional needs or requests.
• Positive and Confident attitude with exceptional communication skills
• Knows the menu and products offered at the club and can comfortably suggest items to enhance the members experience.
• Has a great smile and has a professional demeanor and appearance
• Has a confident, outgoing personality with a sincere desire to provide members with exceptional hospitality
• Has a desire for growth, learning and improvement
• Is available to work weekends and holidays

Previous fine dining experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old (Over 21 preferred). Service is primarily Tuesday-Sunday. Candidates that are chosen for employment are expected to maintain high standards in delivering an elite club experience for members and guests. Comprehension of our seasonal menus, daily specials, and the ability to provide service in an exemplary and timely manner are demanded as well.

Hosts:

Handling all To Go Orders accurately, Assist with making reservations. Greeting and seating all Members and Guests - you are our first and last impression for our Members.

Minor side work to prep for the shifts.
