AIS Construction Equipment is the oldest Michigan owned and operated heavy equipment company in the state and has been serving customers for 60 years. We are looking for full-time Fleet Service Technicians in various branches to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Performing preventative maintenance services. Diagnosing and repairing hydraulics, electrical, engine, driveline, and HVAC systems on heavy-duty trucks/trailers, light-duty trucks/trailers, generators, and construction equipment. Maintaining all assets that are involved in a fleet and serving customers with large fleets that have 1000+ pieces of equipment. All work is completed at the customer’s location/job site. A Total Fleet Technician will operate a company service truck throughout the state of Michigan with the potential of parking the truck at his/her residence.

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Heavy equipment repair training or equivalent experience
  • Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling
  • Able to perform work on uneven surfaces, frequently climb ladders and on/off equipment, and work from various heights
  • Able to work in conditions that include loud noise and fumes, work on and around heavy and moving machinery, bend, walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time and use hand tools
  • Must be able to pass a background/credit check and drug screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
