Role + Responsibilities
Design and implementation of embedded software in C++ for industrial Flowmeters
Work with cross-functional and remote teams in Research & Development consisting of firmware, hardware, and sensor engineers
Implement test scripts in C# for automated regression testing
Ensure compliance with safety critical industrial applications
Driving digitalization by using industrial Ethernet protocols, WLAN, Bluetooth, and iCloud connectivity
Qualification + Profile
Required:
Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering and preferably 3...5 years’ experience in software development
Recent graduates with project/internship experience in embedded software will also be considered
High level experience in C, C++, preferably also C#
Good understanding of embedded software systems
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural and global team environment
Desired:
Experience with embedded software in an RTOS environment
Wired and/or wireless communication protocols
Experience with MCUs and peripheral hardware like UART and SPI
Device Integration into industrial Configuration and/or Control Systems
