We are looking for a Lead Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in the Maryland/DC Metro Area area.

Job Responsibilities

As a Lead Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for service, testing, and Installation of fire alarm systems and devices.

Additional responsibilities of the Lead Fire Alarm Technician include:

· Install and basic programming of fire alarm systems and devices

· Running cable and bending conduit

· Working knowledge of low voltage electrical systems

· Customer service, coordination, and communication

· Technical fire protection system project and administrative support

· Ability to work independently or supervise others as required

· Solid troubleshooting skills

Job Requirements

To qualify for the Lead Fire Alarm Technician position, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire alarm systems and hold an active NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems or higher.

Additional requirements of the Fire Alarm Technician Position include:

· Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email

· Strong customer service skills and communications

· Familiarity with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and local codes

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Fire Alarm Service/ Install: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• NICET Level 2 (Required)

Work Location: On the road
