Our large orthopedic practice is looking for the right indiviudal to join our group to become the financial controller. With 40+ providers, 9 locations and over 200 employees, we are continuously expanding and searching for a candidate to work with the board and management to take on this role that will include some of the following responsibilities and job duties:

Effectively present and discuss company financials with operations, leadership and department heads.

Oversee and manage accounts payables, receivables, and other supporting functional departments. Work with current vendors to obtain better pricing as well as competitive quotes from new vendors

Weekly cash balance reporting and monthly forecasting

Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

Manage intercompany accounting

Be primary communication point for CPA firm

Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.

Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.

Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Ensures operation of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Create month-end reports, including Practice P&L

Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
