Financial Administrator Job at Fanwood Presbyterian
The Fanwood Presbyterian Church (FPC) is seeking a person with financial bookkeeping experience to serve as the church’s part time Financial Administrator. This person will work closely with the church Treasurer/Financial Secretary and must have a working knowledge of financial bookkeeping data bases. The position requires analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, Gmail, internet search capabilities as well as strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills, is dependable and trustworthy. The job location is 74 Martine Ave, Fanwood, NJ. The job will require approximately 6 hours of work per week.
Duties include (but not limited to): 1. Reviewing invoices for accuracy and proper approvals 2. Entering invoices into the accounting system 3. Preparing checks and/or electronic payments 4. Maintaining vendor file and communicating with vendors 5. Reconciling credit card statements with receipts 6. Submitting background checks 7. Preparing for annual payroll audit including certificates of insurances for contractors 8. Paying 1099 contractors 9.
