Responsibilities

We are seeking a Fieldwork Research Associate and Health Coach to support the QUIT-Mobile project. Primary duties include:

•Implement intervention protocols and activities
•Liaise and coordinate patients with care and services
•Deliver coaching intervention services via telehealth (phone or video), using an existing manual of procedures for setting goals and implementing behavior change for diverse low-income adult patients of community health centers who screen as risky (moderate) drug users
•Travel to assigned clinic sites to identify and engage potential study participants
•Recruitment, retention, and implementation of assessments using prepared questions
•Participant tracking and follow-up at pre-determined time points

Notes:
•Contract position anticipated to last for one year. May convert to career.
•Hybrid Remote

Salary range: $18.06-$35.78 Hourly

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s level education.

Interest in medicine, nursing, public health, community health, social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field.

One year of experience working in health coaching.

Working smartphone.

Preferred:

Familiar with Los Angeles County.

Access to reliable transportation to travel to study clinics, as needed.
