We have Parking Systems/VoIP Technician positions available based in Englewood (Inverness), Colorado. NATURE OF WORK:

The Parking Systems/VoIP Technician is required to have the technical skills to perform Service, Maintenance and Installation for a variety of ITS and Parking field devices, including:

  • Portable message signs detector stations, cameras, overhead signs and Parking access equipment.
  • They will also have the skill and knowledge to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various types of electrical-mechanical- VoIP problems.
  • The positions will be based in the Englewood office but operate out in the field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure and Install SIP, VoIP, payment, and networking systems.
  • Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing as well as troubleshoot problems.
  • Understanding of routers, switches, and LAN/WAN configuration programming.
  • Must have working knowledge and ability to install VoIP networking in a voice over IP environment including switches, routers, firewalls, and LAN design.
  • Ability to deploy tests, maintenance, monitor and troubleshoot components that provide a secure, high-performance voice, video, payments, and infrastructure system networks.
  • Understanding of relay logic and troubleshooting.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral while working with co-workers, management & customers, be proficient in computer skills: MS Tools, project management and product based certifications are encouraged but not required.
  • Candidate must pass background check for authorization to work on payment systems that accept credit cards.
  • Deploys tests, maintains, monitors and troubleshoots components to provide secure, high-performance Voice, Video, Security, Point of Sale and Parking System Networks.
  • Utilizes Service Fusion to track and document all work.
  • Follows all traffic and company safety rules while performing duties.
  • Promptly responds to customer needs in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

RECOMMENDED MINIMUM SKILLS & EXPERIENCE*:

  • 1 year+ – Systems Maintenance and Repair with the following: VoIP, PBX, Cabling and a thorough knowledge of IoT and end user features.
  • 1-3 years of experience – Point of Sale Systems
  • Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 100 lbs. + and climb ladders routinely.
  • Ability to work in outside environments.
  • Must be professionally presentable, dependable, and have a positive attitude towards work.
  • Use of steel toed shoes is required.
  • Occasional overnight travel required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Education: High school or equivalent.
  • Candidate must pass background check for authorization to work on payment systems accepting credit cards.
  • Required License: Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
  • Experience installing voice, data, and structured cabling.
  • Use of safety equipment (cones) and safe driving required.
  • Prior experience working in a team-based environment.

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour +
