ITA is seeking a Field Skills Instructor to join the team in Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Responsibilities:
Instructor duties for Air Commando Field Skills (ACFC), AFCF-Ground, Combat Aviation Advisory Mission Qualification Course(CAAMQC), Pre-Deployment Training.

The contractor will provide the appropriate management and labor to instruct the courses within the 371 SOCTS tasking portfolio as well as any additional training events within the scope of the 371 SOCTS at the request from the COR or CO. Instruction in all field skills courses will incorporate fundamentals and principles using the “crawl-walk-run” approach and shall will incorporate the latest battlefield Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).

The contractor will provide all tasks necessary to perform requirements outlined in this PWS. All instruction techniques in the courses will follow the task, condition, and standard format, which offer participants the opportunity to monitor training and gain proficiency and standardization, outlined in the approved curriculum.

Primary students are aircrew conducting the Light Tactical Fixed Wing (LTFW) mission. Personnel for AFSOC ground enablers, and Combat Aviation Advisors.
The majority of training will take place on Hurlburt Field, Florida and the surrounding area within a 100-mile radius.

Qualifications:
The instructors shall have the following qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • a minimum of 8 years U.S. DoD experience in Special Operations
  • at least 2 years of advanced tactical training experience
  • direct experience within the past 6 years of conducting US military combat tactics or training in military combat tactics
  • physical capabilities to perform work as described in the contract Performance Work Statement
  • completed at least an academic regionally accredited associate’s degree (higher is desired)
  • direct experience conducting the following tactics: Advanced Tactical Weapons, tactical Combat Casualty Care, Tactical Force Protection, Active Shooter, Insider Threat, Cockpit Denial, Anti-Terrorism Dynamic Defensive Driving, Small Unit Tactics
  • subject matter experts in field skills training (techniques, tactics, and procedures)
  • communication skills to develop training manuals and procedures
  • presentation skills to train and educate employees
  • interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees, students, and Government counterparts
  • personal computer and business solutions software skills
  • analytical, organization, and management skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
