Loikits Industrial Services is proud to announce a full time job opening as a Commercial
Electrical/Mechanical Field Service Technician. We prefer the candidate to live in the Lehigh
Valley, PA area.

What We Do:
We service access control equipment and gates which are located in oil refineries, terminals, storage facilities, high-profile companies and private communities. We also service commercial and industrial laundry equipment located in hotels, medical facilities, long-term care facilities, correctional institutions and more. We travel to and from the job sites on a daily basis. While we do not currently have accounts which require us to stay out of town on a quarterly basis and for emergency service calls, this may change in the future as our service area broadens.

Skills and attributes we are looking for:

1. Has strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills (3-5 years, minimum)
2. Has the knowledge to work on various styles of electrical and electronic equipment (3-5 years, minimum)
3. Has the mechanical skills needed to service and repair various equipment styles in various environments (required)
4. Has the knowledge to work with a laptop in the field to program units
5. Holds skills necessary to install, program and operate gate controllers (preferred)
6. Has the skillset to fabricate parts needed to repair gates, either on-site or at the Loikits shop (preferred)
7. Has the ability to effectively troubleshoot various brands and styles of laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, ironers, folders, etc. (preferred)
8. Has the knowledge to work safely in an oil refinery setting (required)
9. Has the ability to work nights and weekends as needed with short notice (required)
10. Has the ability to work well both independently and with peers (required)
11. Has a strong ability to work with clients and customers (required)
12. Has the ability to lift more than 50 pounds (required)

Must Have:

1. A clean driving record and valid driver’s license
2. Be able to pass random drug testing

3. A clean criminal record and the ability to pass a state and/or federal background check

4. The willingness to run emergency service calls within 30 minutes of receiving a call and join a rotating on-call schedule

What gets you ahead:

1. Having a valid TWIC card

2. Having an up to date 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificate

3. Having an Automated Gate Operator Installer certification through the Institute of Door
Education and Accreditation (IDEA)

4. Having experience working on commercial gate equipment and/or commercial laundry equipment
