​​As an Field Service Technician, you will learn the manufacturing, construction and maintenance processes involved in building and maintaining these unique buildings. Typically, you’ll be asked to travel to sites to complete installations, takedowns, regular maintenance and repairs on our domes and their associated components. Yeadon’s Field Service Technicians have excellent opportunities for travel, upward advancement, and lucrative overtime during the busy seasons.

AS OUR FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:

• Service Domes. You’ll travel to local and out-of-state sites with other team members (or alone depending on the job) to perform and complete installations, takedowns, inspections and repair and maintenance of domes and associated components. You will work with common and specialized equipment to quickly learn the industry leading techniques required to install, maintain, and repair air supported structures.
• Handle Your Work Safely and Responsibly. We don’t want to have to worry about the safety of our service technicians. Our service technicians are expected to adhere to clean, safe work area procedures in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures. You’ll be asked to read and follow work instructions as assigned or communicated, and to complete timely service reports. We look for responsible employees we can trust to work independently.
• Get Physical. Our domes are big, and our Service Tech’s do it all! We’re looking for people who are comfortable occasionally working from heights up to 80-100 feet on a lift or platform. Working at height is a requirement. You’ll have all the proper safety equipment! You will also be asked to lift/pull up to 75 lbs. repeatedly over the course of a shift. Because dome installation, maintenance and takedown can involve long hours in hot and cold weather – mental and physical toughness will be one of your best assets in this position.

YEADON IS LOOKING FOR AN FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN WITH THE ABILITY TO:

• Use various hand and power tools to perform maintenance and repair of structural components
• Have light interaction with mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems and technologies
• Read and interpret drawings and plans to service or install components at a job site
• Troubleshoot and analyze problems with machines and systems
• Work nights and weekends to support the operating schedule and needs of the facility
• Work overtime hours during busy times and seasons
• Travel to local and remote sites, occasionally with short notice in case of emergencies. Remote sites can be in various states.
• Repeatedly lift and/or pull up to 75 lbs. over the course of a shift
