The Field Services Coordinator / Northern Sacramento, CA will travel extensively and perform his or her work in a clinic environment and may be exposed to blood, oral fluids, or urine specimens. Aegis provides personal protective equipment to its team members for use within the clinic environment. Duties will include maintaining the integrity of the collection process, maintaining records for reporting purposes, and packaging the specimens for shipment.

• This position will cover clinic locations in the following cities: Oroville, Olivehurst, Chico, Los Molinos, Gridley, Orland, Hamilton City and Yuba City
• NOTE: This position will provide a base hourly rate of pay with mileage reimbursement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Travel to multiple clinics in order to transport specimens from Healthcare clients to a FedEx facility or Aegis Laboratory
• Ensure the integrity of each Laboratory Request Form and specimen sample
• Keep records of samples shipped and shipping information associated with each
• Retrieve results via the Aegis Web Portal and deliver to client
• Monitor collection supply levels for each client and order when necessary
• Answer questions from clients regarding Aegis policies
• Complete and maintain required compliance training
• Perform administrative duties and maintain regular communication with the Regional Sales Managers and Area Sales Manager as needed and assigned
• Participate in process improvements, including process definition, measurement analysis, and implementation of controls
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
• Other duties as required and assigned
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Bend, twist or stoop on a repetitive and continuous basis
• Operate various business instruments, including computers, printers/scanners/fax machines, requiring manual dexterity
• Must be able to move continuously from location to location
• Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods of time, including in a vehicle
• Read paperwork and computer monitors, requiring visual acuity
• Must be able to travel extensively/sit in a vehicle for extended periods of time

A Successful Candidate Must Possess:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required (must meet insurability requirements)
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills are essential to success in this role
• Ability to interact and adapt with all levels of team members
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and prioritizing workload
• Ability to use good judgment and work independently
• Ability to handle multiple tasks without sacrificing quality

Schedule:

• This is a Part-Time Position
• 20 Hours per week
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00a - 12:00p
