Location: Hutchins, Texas

Pay: $45,000 per year

Day-To-Day

  • Coordinates intake and orientation of new clients within established time frames.
  • Establishes and revises the Individual Goals and Objectives/ Treatment plan with the families, other agencies and community resources as appropriate.
  • Counsels clients on personal, family, financial, employment, behavioral, and crisis matters.
  • Documents services regularly, as prescribed by contract and maintains complete and current case files and records.
  • Advises Facility Director on discipline, special needs, and emergencies; recommends appropriate action or alternatives.
  • Coordinates the release of clients from program either back into the community or to an institution as appropriate.
  • Conducts Living Skills and group counseling sessions as directed; utilizes authorized curriculum during group sessions.
  • Monitors and notifies staff of potential psychological crisis with individual clients that may affect the operation of the program or the facility.
  • Assumes On-Call Supervisor responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a social, human services, criminal justice or behavioral science program from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have valid Texas Driver License, clear MVR and ability to be insured.
