Farm Hand, Hired Hand Job at Ostergard Farms
Ostergard Farms is looking to add a Farm Hand to their diverse operation in Gothenburg, Nebraska.
The ideal applicant would be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently, a good communicator and mechanically inclined.
Job duties include:
· Operating all farm equipment
· Assist with planting, spraying and harvesting
· Irrigating
· Ability to work on pivots
· Driving semi-truck
· Routine maintenance on equipment
The Farm Hand must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR.
A CDL is required. Ostergard Farms will help the Farm Hand get a CDL if the applicant does not have one.
Work Schedule: Hours vary based on the season
Regular Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, every other weekend
Busy Hours: Monday-Saturday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, with weekends
Compensation: $20-$25 per hour based on experience. Health insurance stipend, cell phone allowance, 7 days of PTO and a work truck.
