QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be up to date with Covid-19 vaccinations as per Office of Head Start requirements.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, but not necessary)
• Experience working with children birth-age 3
• Valid DL and Auto Insurance**

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Experience: Home Based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree and demonstrate competency to plan and implement home-based learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum and promote children’s progress across the standards described in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework: Ages Birth to Five, including children with disabilities and dual language learners, as appropriate, and to build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Within 6 months of hire, employee must attend Parents and Teacher training to obtain Parents as Teachers Parent Educator Certification.
• Employee must have a valid driver's license OR must have daily, reliable access to transportation in order to provide home based services to families
• Proof of vehicle insurance with a minimum of 100,000/300,000 liability coverage.
