Job Description*
Sonic Systems International is seeking a qualified professional to fill the following full-time position in Sunol, CA at GE Hitachi Nuclear research facility.
Full time long-term contract position, with benefits.
This position will be responsible for supporting facility maintenance and troubleshooting of Site Facility’s buildings, systems and grounds, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems and components and general maintenance in a nuclear research and testing facility. Involves working with hand and power tools, heavy equipment, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills.
No per diem or relocation

Qualifications*

High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with various cultures and at all levels of the organization.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Must pass a background check and be able to gain unescorted access to nuclear power stations.
- Backhoe. Forklift, Scissor lift and Crane Operation experience desired.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an Facilities Maintenance.
- Multi-Disciplinary experience a plus.
- Nuclear industry experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift loads up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass Respiratory Fit Test
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 4x10
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: One location
