Summary

Responsible for the coordination, planning, maintenance, and alteration of equipment for buildings, depots and other facilities. This positions primary location will be in the Snohomish/ Skagit County area.

Essential Functions and Key Position Accountabilities

  • Inspects HVAC and electrical, repairs and evaluates building and property maintenance needs utilizing the audit checklist.
  • Schedules facilities repairs including providing cost estimates, bids and proposals.
  • Coordinates the requisition of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assists management in the formulation and coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals, contracts and associated documents.
  • Coordinates equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance for assigned locations.
  • Provides training as needed to operations on the safe operation and cleaning of Taco Time facilities and equipment.
  • Accessible for On-Call emergency support as designated by your Manager.
  • Schedules and coordinates emergency services for assigned locations as needed.
  • Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, such as switches, fuses, ballasts and bulbs, etc.
  • Replaces worn or damaged parts, such as hoses, wiring, and belts etc. for equipment, such as faucets, gas lines, steam jacket, tortilla press, microwave, etc. or any other parts/equipment at a Taco Time facility.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time
  • Adapts to changes in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new processes
  • Support special projects and other designated activities, as assigned. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by Manager


Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma in a related field or equivalent; at least 2 years of facility maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience. A proven track record of experience in food products, product specification, and facilities maintenance.


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

  • Must have valid Washington State Driver’s License


EXPERIENCE

  • This position prefers a minimum of three years of maintenance/facilities experience, preferably in a restaurant or service industry environment.
