In the United States, Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A. currently has employees in 4 states including Michigan, Arkansas, West Virginia and California. The Corporate Office resides in Novi, Michigan. Hino assembles medium-duty trucks at its Mineral Wells, West Virginia plant. Its manufacturing facilities in Marion, Arkansas produces axles, knuckles and suspension components for Toyota’s Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia. Hino’s Parts Distribution Center in Mira Loma, California supplies Latin American and Caribbean distributors with genuine Hino service parts.

We are currently seeking a Facilities Specialist reporting directly to the Facilities Manager located at the Marion, AR plant. This person will be responsible for supporting the Facilities Manager in keeping the facility operating, supporting the department FM’s in ensuring that all concerns, PM’s, work orders, documentation, policies, inspections are complete and up to date. In additional to those duties, the Facilities Specialist will be required to perform tasks to ensure that all local, state, and federal compliances are completed and filed for at-will inspections.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with manufactures, vendors, and clients.
  • Prepare and administer preventive/predictive maintenance work orders.
  • Understand and utilize the Purchase Ordering Process to include the Ringi System
  • Communicate corrective or preventative measures required to appropriate management.
  • Continually monitor compliance issues such as MSDS files, OSHA reporting, etc.
  • Conduct site audits, evaluate plant's compliance with safety and environmental regulations identify areas of improvements.
  • Comply with cGMP, Environmental procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Comfortable with speaking with every level of the HMM-AR Company Organizational Chart.
  • Ability to utilized Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to perform tasks in MegaMations software, comparable to SAP
