Facilities Assistant Job at Kokomo-Howard County Public Library
The Kokomo-Howard County Public Library is proud of wonderful facilities and is seeking a Facilities Assistant to help us keep our facilities in great condition. We have a full-time, 36 hour/week position available. This position will include great annual, sick and holiday benefits in addition to excellent health insurance, retirement, and life insurance. Hours include possible evenings and weekends. Requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-year relevant experience, and a valid driver's license. The primary responsibilities include planning for repair and replacement of various library facility needs, care and maintenance of all facilities including landscaping and parking lots, pest control, acting as liaison with vendors and contractors as needed, and assisting with custodial needs. Th starting rate is $16.68. However, if an applicant has the additional skills of completing projects from quote through implementation and finalization with invoicing to the Finance Department & being available to help minor IT needs and projects, the starting rate would be $18.79.
