Fabricaton Coordinator Job at Junction Industries
- Track all materials through each process of fabrication/Submit daily reports.
- Work with each department (Material Processing, Quality Control, Fit, Weld, Paint) and with All shop leads throughout the fabrication process to coordinate between departments according to real time progress & completions implementing changes as needed to meet the scheduled delivery dates.
- Work with shipping department and Project management by submitting the collective information from each fabrication department on each contract as a finished package. Help determine load weights, quantities, item numbers, number of trucks required, and by what is critical
- Work with (Onsite) managers, supervisors, and leadmen throughout the process from Pre-fab meetings to shipping finished contracts
- Work with (Offsite) project managers to provide updates when required
- Indoor/Outdoor working conditions with exposure to the elements in an industrial environment. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, stoop, squat, bend. Must be able to find and identify stamped part numbers in various locations on materials as they move through each process in the shop.
- Must be familiar with reading/interpreting drawings (blueprints)
- Must be able to create and maintain Excel spread sheets and work with Microsoft office suite
- May be required to order trucks for shipping
