As an Experimental Assembly and Test Mechanic, you will conduct maintenance and activities such as conducting power generation maintenance actions.

In this new role, you will conduct maintenance and activities surrounding the assembling, disassembling, rework, repair, inspection and testing of experimental test articles, production units and related support equipment.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Completing basic measurement tasks.
  • Maintaining instrument systems, exhaust and reverser systems and propellers.
  • Maintaining electrical systems, lubrication systems and ignition and starting systems.
  • Medium to heavy parts must be lifted.
  • Working around moving machinery, flammable fluids, high pressures and temperatures.
  • May be required to work from a raised platform.
Basic Requirements:
  • High School Diploma with 1+ year experience of mechanical experience in the aerospace or automotive industry
  • FAA Power Plant License
  • You must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
  • A thorough knowledge of shop math and willingness to learn and apply new skills
  • Ability to travel when necessary to support actions in the field
